Machine Spun Yarn
After a while I run out of ideas, what to do with all that fleece each spring? Some rovings move well every year, but certain colors start to pile up, so....I decided to have the excess machine spun at Stone Hedge. The skeins are very uniform. The lighter colors overdye very well. The colors I currently have on hand are moorit (brown), white and fawn (shades vary from sheep to sheep and from year to year):
Now, the next photo is a shetland lamb/suri alpaca/chocolate French angora blend and beyond description...soft, drapey; no, really, I can't describe it.
