Secret Herding

Secret earned her first leg toward a HT title at the 2003 National. Terri Korthals has been bringing her along slowly on sheep since last fall and did a bang up job of handling her during the herding test. The judge, Dana MacKenzie, kindly commented after Seeks rather fast and furious performance that polish was not expected at this level (chuckle). Pam Moore (breeder and coowner) and I were on the edge of our seats during the entire performance. Secret was not at all sure that she wanted to stop (one of the requirements to pass) and after three attempts, finally consented to call it quits (whew!). I love this little girl's "can do" attitude!
