Granstream Saga is a unique RPG. The battles are in real-time with the players having the choice to attack, use a shield, and cast magic during battles. The land exploration is different and when entering a tavern, you do not actually enter it. Instead, some dialog boxes come up.
The plot is somewhat interesting, but lacks excitement behind it all. The graphics are also nothing great.
This game is not even close to the level of Xenogears or Parasite Eve (neither of which are excellent games). It is very slow, which can be tedious at times. This game is safe to pass up.
