Birthplace- Berrien Springs, MI
Personel Info- Im 17 years old and a senior at R.V. high school. I have been playing snare in the marching band for 4 years, and have been playing percussion for 8 years. In the fall I plan on attending Holy Cross college in Notre Dame IN, and marching in the Notre Dame drumline(pretty intense huh). I'm not quite sure what I am going to study yet. Currently I have been working out a lot so I am in shape for baseball and over summer I plan on working a lot so I have money for college. I have also been practicing for state solo & ensemble which is coming up soon.
Hobbies- My hobbies are, bowling, tennis, playing on my drum kit, and playing baseball. I've been playing Varsity and Legion baseball for 2 years.
Musical Influences- I've had a lot of musical influences. One of them is Chad Sexton the drummer from 311. I try to model myself after him while i'm on the kit. Some other influences are my instructors, and sometimes even my fellow band members.
Fav. Quote and/or Advice- Advice i'd give to another drummer would be, in order to be a good drummer you have to be willing to work at it. I believe percussion is one of the easiest instruments to play but, one of the hardest instruments to play good. I also think its important to learn different styles of percussion. Try to place your focus on learning as many different styles and instruments instead of focusing on one area.
