Night 21 and Stephenie returns alone to Camp Ulong, She is excited but also a bit scared. She knows she must do everything now, including tending the fire. Steph is afraid to fall asleep, as the fire may go out and she may have trouble restarting it.
Day 22 and Stephenie awakens. She first marks another day on the tree calen- der. Then she begins the morning chores. Over at Koror, Janu is apathetic and Coby is annoying. He's getting really cranky, irritated with everyone of his tribe mates. Back at Ulong, Steph goes fishing but comes up empty-handed. She struggles up a tree to fetch a coconut. After frying one up, she checks for tree-mail. HAPPY NEWS! She is instructed to gather her belongings and go to join Koror. There is also a container she must deliver to them, sealed. She loads up the outrigger with everything and heads off, saying good-bye to Ulong.
Koror spots Stephenie arriving and are excited. They welcome her with open arms. The sealed container explains that Ulong has been destroyed and that Stephenie is now part of Koror. A buff for her is in the container. There is also a message about visitors arriving soon, and that the survivors must work for a feast. Katie and Jenn immediately take Steph under their wings and give her the grand tour. Steph is impressed with Koror's living conditions. She said it was very smart of them to use the shower-water for drinking purposes only. LOL!!! I wonder how Jenn felt hearing that? Coby gets jealous of all the attention showered on Stephenie. He plans a chat with her himself.
Two natives arrive to teach the gang how to fish, Palauan-style! First, they rig fishing lines with three hooks each, and wrap the line about a piece of bam- boo, about a foot long. Next, the natives show them how to obtain bait, small fish just off shore, by casting the line in a twirling fashion. Then, they just reel in the line, wrapping it about the bamboo, much like one would do in kite flying. The bait box fills quickly. The natives want to take two of the men out fishing while the other two catch more bait. Coby volunteers himself, and Ian, for bait catching. But Tom wants Ian AND Gregg to both go fishing with him and their new pals. Coby throws a hissy-fit and storms off. Tom tries to show the gals how to catch bait, but Coby says that HE is a Bait-Guy, and Tom is a Fishing-Guy and needs to go. And fish they do! The five MEN catch 13 de- cent sized fish, AND a lobster! The natives demonstrate Palauan cooking methods and the feast is on! They produce two bottles of rum. Most enjoy a drink of rum poured into a coconut. Tom likes his rum straight and proceeds to get hammered. As night falls, so does Tom, and he is helped to bed. Steph recalls her exciting day. She knows she had an alliance with Tom and Katie, but is uncertain where she stands now. She thinks Koror is tight and will boot her first.
Day 23 and the natives depart as Koror bids them farewell. Coby is really get- ting annoyed with Tom and his New York-ness. Coby grabs Steph by the hand and walks her away from the others to spill the beans. He tells her who is in which alliance and that Jenn is her biggest threat. The others watch and take note. Katie and Jenn then seize Stephenie as she returns and schmooze her. Later, Tom takes Steph swimming and gives her the low-down. It will be her, Ian, Katie and him in the Final Four. Stephenie takes it all in.
Day 24 and it's Immunity Challenge time! Jeff takes back the tribal immunity idol and lets Stephenie one chance to hold it before unveiling the individual immunity necklace. This season we once again begin with the Perch Standing Showdown. A plain and simple test of endurance. Last one standing wins. Jeff grabs a lounge chair and relaxes as he tries to get the players to expose their strategies. At the One-Hour mark, Jeff offers donuts to those who bail out. Coby and Janu dive off their perches and swim to Jeff. Coby taunts the perchers with his donut and Jeff asks what they think of someone who bails out of The Game for a couple of donuts? At the 2:23 mark, Jeff returns with a cold glass of milk and a plate of 15 chocolate chip cookies. Ian, Katie, Gregg, and Jenn take the dive and give up immunity for the goodies. It's getting dark after three hours and Jeff comes out with the ultimate treat, a large pizza. Stephenie asks Tom how long he plans to fight it out and he answers that he's a stubborn Irishman. Steph and Caryn bail out and gorge on the pizza. Tom swims in and collects his prize, Immunity. The gang then depart for an imme- diate Tribal Council.
After lighting their torches, Stephenie says that she knows that she is very vulnerable right now. Jennifer talks about how she likes Steph but is worried about her competitiveness. Coby says that there are many targets tonight. Janu admits to not pulling her own weight. Jeff chides Steph for her million- dollar pizza. She says she will regret it if she's booted tonight. It's time to vote. Coby votes for Janu and Janu votes for Stephenie. The rest gang up on Coby and boot him off. Janu is stunned. Jeff reminds them that they are no longer one big, happy tribe, but a group of individuals competing.
SPOILERS: Janu throws down and gets nasty with her tribe mates. A mem- orable reward for four castaways who win a visit to a local tribe. And a new twist to the Immunity Challenge, the first person out is exiled!
