Day 37 and Caryn is gone.  The Final Four (Jennifer, Ian, Katie, and Tom), arise
from their slumber.  They had an extra few minutes while the viewers were
treated to the usual season recap.  Katie is happy that Caryn exposed Ian's
game-playing.  Ian thinks that it was Tom who got painted worse from Caryn's
trash-fest.  Ian believes that it is Tom who has the big target on his back now.
The girls find a case filled with breakfast goodies and champagne.  They share
a last meal together and relax, before slitting each other's throats.  It doesn't
take long.  While Tom is on the beach, Ian talks with Jenn and Katie.  The plan
is simple, if either of the three wins immunity, they vote off Tom.

Immunity Challenge Time!  Jeff greets the Final Four and shows off the two
grand prizes for the Ultimate Survivor…, a new Chevy SSR sportster, and in
it's glove box, a blank check for one million dollars.  The Challenge itself is
the Tower of Domination.  First, each must go through a series of tires while
tied to a rope, and gather 4 sets of keys.  Once reaching the base of the tower,
they may free themselves and use the keys to unlock hatches as they ascend
the tower.  At the third level, each uses a grappling hook to latch on to 4 lad-
der rungs.  Once all 4 are retrieved, the ladder is assembled and they may
climb up to the top of the tower.  There, each must open a box, obtain the flag
inside, and run it up their pole.  The first two to do this move on to the Final
Round.  A fast ride down on the flying-fox to a platform offshore where there
is a bag with three numbered tiles.  Each number is part of a combination
lock, securing a box onshore containing another flag.  First to run up the se-
cond flag wins immunity.

As the challenge begins, it's a close race between Jenn, Ian, and Tom.  Katie
doesn't seem to care whether she wins or loses.  Jenn starts to lose ground
once at the tower itself.  Ian and Tom and still neck and neck as they climb up
the levels.  Tom then starts to have better aim at using the grappling hook
and gets his ladder assembled first.  He reaches the top and raises his flag.
Ian wins 2nd Place.  The gals sit and watch as the Final Round begins.  Ian
and Tom are neck and neck again, trading leads, till they reach shore with
their bags of tiles.  Ian opens his bag first, but fails to get the combination
correctly.  Tom wins! The look on Jenn and Katie's faces are priceless.

Back at camp, Tom relishes in his sweet victory.  He tells Ian in front of all
that he will not vote for him at Tribal Council and looks forward to going head
to head against him one last time.  Tom then gives Jennifer an adios and what
a pleasure it's been knowing her.  Ian then makes a slip of the tongue, on he's
glad he didn't have to make the choice on who to boot.  Tom is puzzled by
this and Jenn wastes little time exploiting it.  She rats out Ian and how they
had planned to boot Tom if one of them won immunity.  Tom confronts Ian,
who stumbles with his explanation.  Even Katie jumps on Ian and tells him he
should just admit to his part in the plot.  Ian fumbles more and Tom grows
weary of him.

Tribal Council is late and Jeff wants to know why?  Tom tells all about Ian's
slip of the tongue and Jenn's revelations.  Ian gets backed into a corner of lies
and deception.  The girl's back Tom up.  Katie really blasts him and asks him
pointblank if he's lied to her in the past 24 hours?  Ian says no, which of
course, is a lie, or a deflection.  He's either lying to Tom or to Katie.  The Jury
is enjoying themselves as Ian gets torn apart.  It's time to vote.  Ian and Katie
vote to boot Jennifer, while she and Tom vote to boot Ian.  Tied at two each,
Tom and Katie vote again, but the result remains a tie.  Ian and Jenn now
face off against each other in a fire-starter challenge.  Jennifer gets her's go-
ing first, but Ian builds a large fire quickly and wins.  Jennifer is then expelled
from the Eden of Koror.  In the confessional, Jenn says that Katie let her down
and may not have her vote any longer.

Night 37 and Tom is furious with Ian.  Their gentlemen's agreement about
taking each other to the Final Three is now exposed as deceitful on Ian's part.
Katie, again, throws a little more trash Ian's way.  For his part, Ian just sticks
with the mantra of "We're playing a game!"  But Ian just digs himself a deeper
grave.  Tom wants him to be a man and admit that he was going to betray him.

Day 38 and Ian feels like poop.  He hardly slept as his conscience nags him.
Katie has a quiet chat with him.  Ian tells her that he will pick her to go with
him to the Final Two.  He never intended to be the Bad Guy.  Tree-mail an-
nounces the coming Immunity Challenge, to be first preceded by the tradition-
al "Fallen Comrades" moment.  This season, the Final Three must paddle out
to a small rocky arch and gather the torches of the 15 other tribe members.
On the way to IC, they shall bury the torches at sea.  We get the usual flash-
backs of each tribe member along with a post-game thought on how they all
enjoyed their time on Palau.

The last Immunity Challenge is the Endurance Test.  This season, each must
climb up a pole attached to a buoy.  A small metal disk on the pole acts as a
footing.  They must hang on amongst the bobbing from the waves and tide.
They must be barefoot and may not sit on the disk.  After about an hour, the
wind picks up and is blowing the three players over about 30 degrees.  Then
the rains come!  Four hours elapse and all are still hanging on.  An hour later
and Katie has had enough.  She bails out and takes a nap by Jeff.  Eight hours
and 11 minutes into the challenge and Jeff remarks how incredible it is that
no one is talking any deals.  They should've started that after Katie quit.  Tom
tells Ian that if he has to go the distance and beat Ian, Tom intends to take
Katie to the Finals.  But, if Ian quits now, Tom will take him instead.  Ian balks
and refuses.  Katie perked up when she heard her name mentioned and now
seems more disgusted with Ian.  Eleven hours and forty-five minutes and Ian
makes a decision.  He tells Tom that having his respect and friendship is more
important and will step down now provided that Tom takes Katie.  Naturally,
Tom agrees, and Ian bails out into the water.  They hold an immediate Tribal
Council and Tom is officially rewarded and chooses Katie to go with him to the
Finals.
