Day 19 and Austin is regretting his admission at last night's Tribal Council to sand-bagging it during the challenge to appear weak. I've got news for you Austin, compared to Terry (nearly twice your age) YOU ARE WEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Casaya 6 are also discussing the admission. Shane's hunch about Austin was correct, and the consensus is that Austin is now a prime target for the next boot. Terry, OUR HERO, plans to shake things up around camp. He wants to know the pecking order of the Casaya 6 and use that to flip the #5 and 6 players over to his side.
Reward Challenge is a fun one. Divided into three teams of three each, teams must first load 100 colored coconuts onto opponents boats, paddle out to a marker to retrieve a net, paddle back to shore and then refill their bin with the 100 coconuts. The prize is breakfast in bed. The teams are Terry/Shane/Austin (TSA), Aras/Sally/Bruce (ASB), and Courtney/Danielle/Cirie (CDC). As the load- ing phase begins, Aras and Danielle conspire to load all their coconuts a board TSA's boat, thus making it heavier and slower. The gals of CDC are slow and wind up having to load some of their own in their boat, as TSA and ASB head out to fetch their nets. These two teams battle it out and are neck and neck as they return to shore. To refill their coconut bins, they must use the nets to carry the lovely coconuts. TSA goes for a two load strategy, ASB a single load. ASB nearly won immediately, but they forgot to bring their team flag. As Sally runs back to fetch it, TSA starts carrying their second load plus the flag. But Sally makes it in time and ASB wins. A boat will come out tomorrow and take the winners to their breakfast in bed. They also pick one from each of the other teams to visit Exile Island. Aras chooses Danielle and Austin to be banished.
Day 20 begins with a rainy morning. The winners are up early waiting eagerly for the boat to arrive. Aras is worried that he had painted a target on his back with his picks. The boat finally arrives and takes our winners to a deserted sandbar where they find a large canopy bed. Mind you, it's windy, cold, and raining. The canopy and curtains offer little protection from the elements. Then the food arrives! Toast with butter and jams. Chocolate croissants. Bacon, eggs, juice, coffee. They gorge themselves silly.
Back at camp, Terry chats up Shane, trying to coax the Final Four line up. Shane, stupidly tells Terry that it'll be him, Aras, Courtney and Cirie. Terry wants to bet Shane $20 that the Final Four will not be them. The winners return and tell their tales of feasting. Poor Aras and Sally complained that neither were able to eat all 15 strips of bacon. Shane gets sarcastic, Cirie is jealous!
Night 20 finds Austin and Danielle huddled together fighting off the cold and rain on Exile Island. The two are miserable. REALLY MISERABLE!!! They are both very unhappy. But both get a chance to bond with each other. Danielle even likes Austin and would consider him for a back-up plan.
Day 21 finds Terry and Sally making the morning water run. Sally ponders who would get the idol if both Danielle and Austin find it. Terry tells her there's no chance of that happening. He admits to finding it after twenty minutes of search- ing the first day he was on Exile Island. Sally thinks it's great that Terry has the idol.
Immunity Challenge is a 4-Stage obstacle course. All nine race in Stage 1 with the 1st six advancing to Stage 2. The first three move on to Stage 3, where in the top two compete in Stage 4 for immunity. Stage 1 involves digging enough sand in order to crawl under a fence. Aras got about half way then found himself stuck. Shane, Terry, Austin, Courtney, Sally and Danielle advance. Stage 2 begins with a brain teaser puzzle, and once completed, racing through a course of fishing nets. The ex-La Minas triumph as Terry, Sally and Austin advance. Stage 3 begins with a double rope bridge that players must cross using two planks of wood to reach a platform. Terry and Sally win this one and advance to Stage 4, a multi-level series of monkey-bar-like obstacles. Terry just throws himself through and gets the lead and never looks back. Terry wins his second consecutive individual immunity!
Back at camp, Danielle is mad at Aras for exiling her. Aras explains that he chose her over Courtney and Cirie because he knew Danielle was tough enough to survive Exile Island. Austin thinks he's on the chopping block. Then Terry tells him that he has the secret idol and lays out a plan for using it to flip Bruce and Danielle. Terry tells them both about Shane's comments on who the Final Four will be. Terry then offers to GIVE Danielle the idol if she and Bruce flip tonight at Tribal Council to boot Aras. Later, the Casaya 6 meet to discuss their boot-vote. Aras is concerned that Shane and he are at risk, because Terry might give Austin the idol, which would then make whoever the La Mina 3 vote for be booted. Aras wants to vote off Sally instead to confound Terry. Courtney thinks it's a bad idea and wants Austin gone. Shane agrees with her and says that it's too early for Terry to use the idol like that. Courtney adds that Terry would never give up the idol.
At Tribal Council, the Reward Challenge is revisited on how Aras and Danielle worked together to sabotage TSA's boat and yet Aras then exiled Danielle. Aras feels exposed by his decisions. Austin and Danielle talk of how the bonded on Exile Island, and how miserable it was. Cirie says that the tribe is getting along fine except when it's TC time. Courtney and Shane both admit to already thinking about when it will be necessary to boot fellow Casaya 6 members. Bruce is concerned about that. It's time to vote. Aras gets the three La Mina votes, the Casaya 6 boot Austin.
SPOILERS: The Casaya 6 are getting irritated with Terry winning immunities. He's being seen as arrogant, flaunting his prowess and victories. Shane has health issues and asks Cirie, an RN, to examine him.
