We begin on Day 22 and find Jonathan busy as a bee. While the rest of Raro Tribe lie about in their make-shift sacks, Jon is out fishing, gathering wood, boiling water, etc. He has some second thoughts about his decision to fol- low Candice in her defection from Aitu to Raro. So Jonathan continues to bust his butt in order to prove his worthiness around the camp. Meanwhile, Candice and Adam go to check for tree-mail. Adam tells her that it will be her and him in the Final Two. He also warns Candice to be careful around Jenny, as she may not like the idea of Candice displacing her in Raro's heir- archy. In fact, it's already too late. Jenny is already worried about how this will effect their alliance.
Over at Aitu, things are going well. Sure, everyone has to work harder, but they are the 'worker-bee' tribe. Tree-mail arrives with a board showing the International signal flag alphabet. Aitu quickly memorizes it. A good thing, too, because it's time for the Reward Challenge.
Jeff begins by telling the gathering that Brad is the first jury member, since Aitu didn't know that. Using a hand-held compass, each tribe must coordi- nate with a large compass rose on the beach to find four buried chests. Each chest contains signal flags. Working in pairs, they must find and dig up each chest. Only once all are found may they be opened up and use the flags to spell the word, "VICTORY". The reward is a visit to a local tribe and participate in a feast. Raro begins the event with trouble using the compass. While Jon and Jenny struggle, Yul and Sundra find the first chest for Aitu. Candice and Adam also have trouble reading the compass when they try to find Raro's second chest. Meanwhile, Ozzy and Becky already got Aitu's second and Yul and Sundra go for the third chest. Aitu gets their fourth while Raro gets their third. Aitu opens all their chests and spells VICTORY as Candice and Adam are digging for their fourth chest. Aitu choses to send Candice back to Exile Island again.
Poor Candice is stuck on Exile Island all by her lonesome self. BOO-HOO! She knows that Aitu has it in for her and that makes her unhappy. Oh well, I guess she should have thought about that sooner. Meanwhile, Aitu flies to a neighboring island aboard a small plane. After landing, they are met by the local natives, who greet them with much ceremony. Aitu members are carried to the village in a parade of song and dance. They all feel great about the whole experience. The feast of food and homemade wine begins and adds to the pleasure. Things get very amusing when an island woman starts hitting on Yul. Ozzy thinks that they will crush Raro and continue to add to their winning streak of three events.
Day 23 and Raro stirs in their shelter, which is cold, wet, and smells like a cat peed in it. Jonathan is up and about again doing chores. He returns from fishing with eleven good-sized fish. Tree-mail arrives with a map of the Pacific Ocean. All must study it to learn the names of the various island chains. Much time is spent with Rebecca to memorize the map. She has yet to demonstrate any usefulness.
Day 24 and Candice rejoins the gang at the Immunity Challenge. The event consists first of swimming off shore, one at a time, to a pontoon, and diving to fetch one of four bundles from the bottom. Each bundle contains a set of plaques with the names of the island chains. Once all four bundles are recovered, the tribes must match them up to the proper points on a large map. There is a bonus twist, as the losing tribe gets a sealed bottle which contains a note with important information that may change the nature of The Game. The losing tribe must not open the bottle till after the vote at Tribal Council. Needless to say, Aitu smokes Raro once again. It wasn't even close.
Back at camp, Raro ponders the secret message in the bottle. Perhaps it is instructions for The Merge??? They dread what it contains. Rebecca's name is floated around as a boot-option. She simply hasn't proved to be of any value to the tribe. Candice and Adam privately discuss booting Rebecca, and then probably going after Jenny next. Nate tells Parvati that while he agrees that Rebecca hasn't been contributing much, he still thinks that Jonathan needs to go next. Jonathan wonders more about the note. He is confused about when it's to be read. After the vote is all Jeff said, but when after? Before the votes are counted? After? I'm confused, too. LOL!
At Tribal Council, Raro giggles as a clean, groomed Brad takes a seat on the Jury Bench. Jeff brings up Raro's four losses in a row and wonders what they can do to rebound from the situation? Jenny thinks they can change in time. Jonathan's fishing skills are praised as he's caught twenty-two fish the past two days. Parvati acknowledges that Jon's done a good job in keeping them fed. Adam anguishes that he's tired of losing and wants pro- ductivity from everyone. It's time to vote. Rebecca votes to boot Jonathan, the rest boot her. After Jeff snuffs her fire and Rebecca walks away, Jeff asks Parvati to open the bottle and read the message. She does so and they all learn that they must now vote a second member off immediately! This is quite the shocker. Nate moans about if only Aitu were there instead. In this vote, since there's no time for politicking, things could go in any direction. Nate and Jenny vote to boot Jonathan. The four Caucasians vote off Jenny. She and Nate are surprised. I'll bet Nate hopes they merge fast so he can hook up with the other non-Caucasians before they're voting block over whelms everyone.
SPOILERS: Jonathan voices his dissatisfaction of Raro's work ethic. Yul tells Ozzy he has the hidden Immunity Idol. Things heat up between Adam and Candice.
