It's Day 15 and… HUH??? What happened to Days 13 and 14? Very good question! Simple answer. I was watching "Seinfeld" on TBS. The episode where Jerry's apartment was robbed while he was out of town and Elaine, who was 'watching' his place, was out shopping. The last thing I remember was George showing Jerry and Elaine an nicer apartment. LOL! That was an old one, George was still working in real estate. Hahaha! Anyway, I nodded out. The next thing I know is that it's about 8:30PM and my Comcast box is still set on TBS instead of CBS. So I'll have to watch a replay On Demand over the weekend and write about Days 13 & 14 on my Reality TV Monday blog. As Neil Cavuto would say, "If you're not getting Andy's Reality TV Monday Blog", DEMAND IT!!!"
Anyway, it's Day 15 and over at Camp Jalapao, we find Spencer being bored by a flirty Sydney. Little does she realize that he's gay! He has decided to conceal his sexuality, as he's afraid that Good Ol' Southern Boy, JT, would orchestrate a boot against him just on moral grounds. Good guess, Spencer! Tree mail arrives and comes with colorful, hand-nets. We can see where this is going…
Time for the Immunity Challenge! Brendan and Stephen rejoin their tribes, so I guess they were at Exile Sand Dune. The event today is the old, Sling- shot-the-Ball-and-Catch-with-Hand-Nets game. Two from each tribe will take turns slinging balls out to the rest. The remainder must try and catch the balls using a hand-net. First tribe to catch five wins.
JT gets things started scoring two in a row for Jalapao! Then Brendan, who is being covered by his secret-friend, Taj, scores two in a row for Timbira. JT scores a third point for Jalapao with an amazing diving catch that costs him half a tooth! He throws the tooth away, but Jeff stops the game and gets it. Maybe he's making a necklace or a voodoo doll? Play resumes and JT scores again! It's 4 to 2, and Jalapao just needs one more. But JT and his tribe had not counted on Tyson. He scores one for Timbira. Then, another! It's a tied game, 4 all. Tyson then makes one more amazing catch and wins the event for Timbira. Jalapao's losses are piling up after a good run. Jeff hands Timbira the Immunity Idol, and gives JT back his tooth!
Back at Camp Jalapao, Taj is extra frustrated. Her team lost again and she feels the heat, concerned about being booted. She hopes that Spencer is a viable target. While cooling off in the river with JT, Joe and Stephen, Taj unloads her frustration and tries to steer them towards booting Spencer. But she goes too far, picking a fight with Joe. After she storms off, JT brings up booting Spencer. Stephen is torn, as he knows Taj has the hidden immunity idol. Spencer joins the boys and talks with them about who to vote for. JT tells him flat out that it's between Taj and him. Oh-Oh!
At Tribal Council, Spencer admits he played very poorly during the Immunity Challenge. Taj confesses to being frustrated and that she blew up later after the IC. Joe tells her he did not appreciate being yelled at by her. Taj says it's not personal, she was just venting over their losing. Spencer can appreciate why Taj feels imperil tonight. Taj admits to feeling handicapped because of all of the time she spends away from the tribe in exile, but points out it was never her choice to be exiled. Jeff asks if the others think she might have the hidden idol? Joe says the thought has crossed his mind. She declares that she does not have it and Joe says he believes her. LOL!
It's time to vote. We see Taj and Spencer trade votes. Jeff gathers the urn and tallies the count. It's 5 to 1 against Spencer. Jeff snuffs out his torch and Spencer makes his walk of shame. Jeff then chides Jalapao for losing momentum.
SPOILERS: No "Survivor" next week. The next episode will be the second Wednesday from now. Coach conducts an 'air orchestra'. I wonder what symphony he's having 'them' play? Erin thinks he's a loon! So do I, Erin. So do I!!! LOL!!!
