"Survivor Review" is a private fan site and is no way affiliated with CBS or Mark Burnett Productions.  Many of the pictures and graphics are taken from the official CBS "Survivor: Pearl islands" website, as well as other sites, such as "CBS Early Show".  This site's intent is not to infringe on any copyrighted or trademarked material, only to review and speculate on a TV series which has captured our imaginations.

It's Night 12, after Tribal Council, where we rejoin the Drake tribe as they re-
turn to their island.  Jon is giddy at disposing of Burton.  So seems Shawn,
who admits to also voting against his old pal.  Shawn commences to trash
Burton endlessly, much to the chagrin of Michelle.  She is now the tribe's
outcast.  Shawn definitely misled her and Jon played her like a fiddle.  Even
Trish is suspicious of Shawn's attitude.  She smells a rat.

Day 13 begins at the Morgan Tribe.  Notice I didn't say Moron Tribe, out of
respect to Rupert now being there temporarily.  And what he sees, he can't
believe.  The Morgans are a mess.  The shelter is too close to the shore, and
the log barrier they have as a sea wall is useless.  Rupert brings to them
fire, or rather knowledge and common sense.  His first duty is to explain the
science of tidal forces and general astronomy.  He suggests moving the
shelter far back to the edge of the jungle.  Andrew, Der Fuerher, realizes that
this makes sense, and that he now has his Albert Speer, the man who will
rebuild his capital.  Most threatened by Rupert's presence is the Uberman,
Osten.  He immediately protests the whole plan.  After all, he is the Man of
the Future, who will one day bring them all great victories.  Osten sees no
point in rushing into this decision, not to mention hard work.  Der Fueher,
eager to show enlightenment to his new guest, calls for a plebiscite.   Osten
is the lone Nay vote.  Rupert, who has been quietly watching from the side-
lines, shakes his head in disbelief.  Was this the best that casting could find?

Back at the Drakes, they miss Rupert.  They certainly miss the fish he brings
them, as they debate about opening a can of Spam.  The Drakes also worry
about what Rupert may be relieving to the Morgans.  Particularly, about
their tribe.  But the Drakes shouldn't be concerned.  The Morgans are abso-
lute morons.  Poor Rupert, stuck with them for most of a day, has been
thristy and hungry the whole time.  There is very little rice.  The Morgans
barely get two handfuls twice a day.  Rupert decides it's time for Lesson #2,
The Proper Method of Spear-Fishing.  He shows them the correct way to
use the spear.  RyanO seems most eager to truly learn.  He wants to grow up
and be just like Rupert.  They go fishing together.  RyanO is less than help-
ful, but Rupert is patient and they eventually return with a bounty of fish.
All are pleased with their first real meal in days.

Day 14 begins with Reward Challenge.  Rupert tells the Morgans he will try
his best to win, because he wants to prove to the Drakes just how much
they need him.  And proves he does!  Rupert nearly single-handedly wins
this challenge.  The Drakes never had a chance.  Jon, who seems to be the
temporary leader, doesn't use the rudder of their boat properly, which leads
to their downfall.  The challenge itself was to first row a boat off shore, and
retrieve four sets of ladder rungs lying on the sea floor.  Then row back,
and assemble the ladder.  One tribe member must race to a Spanish well to
get a golden idol.  First tribe to get their idol on to a raised scaffold using
the ladder, wins.  The prize is a portable, camping-type shower, along with
a large pot to boil water in, and two large gerry-cans to hold the water.
Since this was Morgan's first win, they got the first clue to their treasure, as
well as an opportunity to raid the Drakes.  Jeff asked Rupert if he wanted to
get his share of the Morgan's prize, or return to the Drakes now.  Rupert
chose to go home to Drake.  He had enough of the Morons.

The Morons now feel cocky.  They honestly think they can win.  Der Fuerher
is confident of total victory, at least to his present flock.  We'll see his true
colors later.  The shower is set-up when they arrive.  "T" is in heaven.  She
is glad to be clean.  Darrah is also happy.  This has clearly been their best
day so far.    Drake celebrates the return of Rupert.  He fills them in on how
bad things are over at Camp Moron.  Especially the lack of work ethic, name-
ly, that of Osten's.  Andrew arrives bearing some fruit to do the looting raid.
Rupert takes him by the shoulder and walks Andrew over to the rice supply.
Rupert tells him that he knows Andrew can take whatever he wants to, but
Rupert wants him to take a sack of rice.  He knows it is what the Morgans
need most.  Andrew accepts the offer.  Der Fuerher tells Uncle Cameraman
later that he was diplomatic, because he is already thinking ahead to the
Merge, when he will become part of the Drake's tribe.

Day 15 and it's time for the Immunity Challenge.  Yes, it's our old, very old,
favorite, the gross-food-challenge.  The Drakes hatch a plan for Michelle to
pretend to be the worst at it, so in the event of a tie-breaker, the Morons will
choose her, when in fact, she is their best at eating gross food.  Hmmmm?
Anyway, the tribes gather and Rupert shows all his new pet, Balboa, a snake
he found that is wounded.  Rupert intends to nurse it back to health.  You
gotta love him!  It's Wheel of Fish, as Jeff explains the rules.  The first round
is not timed, they just have to down their food.  Each tribe sends one pair
up at a time.  Each roll a ball on Jeff's spinning wheel of fate.  The wheel is
divided into thirteen segments, each denoting a particular sea food.  Where
the balls stop, Jeff places portions of each selection into a blender and serves
up a disgusting smoothie to each contestant.  Sandra is first up for the Drakes
against Andrew.  She has lots of trouble, which is clearly noticed.  When
Michelle has her turn, she downs her smoothie in one quick slurp.  Jon and
Christa nearly fall over from this.  Did Michelle not remember the plan???
The contest does indeed come down to a tie breaker, which is to be timed.
Jeff makes Sandra and Darrah smoothies with a bit of everything, topped-
off with a whole sardine, which must also be eaten.  Darrah wins, and the
Morons win their third challenge in a row.

Back at Drake Island, Sandra is depressed.  She feels bad about losing and
apologizes to everyone.  Jon is mad about Michelle's mistake and talks with
Christa about targeting her.  Shawn chats up Rupert about getting rid of one
of the girls.  Rupert is not amused.  By the way, I forgot to mention how
pleased Rupert looked back at the Reward Challenge when he saw Burton
was missing.  Rupert is clearly thinking that it's time for Shawn to go next.
He then talks with Michelle, who feels very bad.  So bad she throws up.
Rupert is moved by her sincerity and promises to try and talk with the others.

At Tribal Council, Sandra again apologizes for her blunder.  Jeff wants to
know if they are falling apart, now having lost three challenges in a row?
Jon says no, and comes clean about throwing the last Immunity Challenge.
Rupert then chimes in, saying how he warned them all about losing the Big
Mo (momentum), but nobody listened.  It's time to vote.  It's six to one against
Michelle, who voted to boot Shawn.

SPOILERS:  A pelican attacks Camp Moron, giving Osten the 'willies'.  Jon
and Shawn have an argument about who does more work again.  Looks
like the rest of the Drakes want one of them to go.
