EPISODE 15 & Finale:
Who Will Win All-Stars?
by Andy Zarowny
Okay friends and neighbors, it all comes down to this. Anyone of the remaining four could win this season, so let's do some rational specu- lation.
First, Rupert will NOT win. The only scenario for him making it into the Final Two is for him to win both of the last two immunity challenges, which seems unlikely. There is some photographic evidence which points towards Amber winning the next challenge, a race to collect tokens of some sort through a maze. Nobody wants to be against the Gentle Giant when facing The Jury. Rupert would win, hands down.
Realistically speaking, Jenna, Rob, and Amber, are the only three who have a serious shot at this point. The whole season has been the Rob & Amber Show. The most likely scenario is they being the two finalists with Amber winning. If you want to wager on a favorite, Amber is the one to go for. Rob could win, but he has at least two votes against him, Lex and Alicia. I cannot see either voting for him. I don't see Tom voting for him either, unless Rob is facing Jenna, who Tom may dislike even more.
Jeff Probst has said in his recent interviews that the questioning seg- ment by The Jury is the roughest since the first season, getting very bitter and personal. Many people are reading this as a sign that Rob is in the Finals, and that he's going to get trashed by one and all. Of course, the same could be true should it be between Amber and Jenna as both have few supporters on The Jury. Many are mad at Amber whom they see as the true manipulator of The Game. Many are mad at Jenna for personal reasons, namely, her so-called motor-mouth.
There are two potential scenarios for Jenna being in the Final Two. One is that she wins the final immunity, or two, that Amber wins and decides to take Jenna instead of Rob. Her reasoning for doing this is that she would probably feel she would have a better chance at beat- ing Jenna than Rob. Remember, Amber THINKS Rob is a GREAT GUY! She knows that he is a strong player, who played The Game the hard- est and most in the open. Sure, plenty are mad at him, but The Jury just might respect Rob's strategy more than hers. In this case, Jenna would be a better choice for Amber to take in that Amber can argue that she played The Game much better than Jenna did.
Personally, I hope that Jenna wins. I'd rather see Rupert win, but that just isn't going to happen. Jenna winning will be an 'OK' finish to an 'OK' season. Plus, Sunday is Mother's Day, so it would be fitting. But, I'm going to hold my nose and go with the rational outcome of the season:
F4 Boot Pick: Rupert F3 Boot Pick: Jenna Final Two: Rob vs Amber, Amber winning.
Why Amber? Too many people hate Rob. Lex, Alicia, and Tom REAL- LY hate Rob! Shii Ann and Kathy will be more inclined to support the way that Amber played, as would Jenna. Rupert could be the only pro Rob vote, but if he swings to Amber, then it could be the first 7-0 win in Survivor lore. I hope I'm wrong. I'd rather see Jenna somehow make it to the finals and win. But I just don't think that's going to hap- pen. I'll admit that I've rewritten these last couple of paragraphs a few times, predicting that Jenna, or even Rob, will win. But I've made up my mind. When in doubt, go with Vegas. The odds-makers are picking Amber to win, and I'm going to run with the crowd on this one.
