The Young Boy Slow
Sitting Bull was born March
1831 in the middle of winter. He was born into the Hunkpapa Sioux tribe.
His name at the time was Slow because of how he ate. He later
earned his fathers name
Sitting Bull and his fathers
name was changed to Jumping Bull.
