Sabotage

Sadness is a soboteur

That worms it's way in slowly
Finding all your cracks and flaws
To make despair and lonely

It's easy to give into it

To surrender to it's power
For sadness has a special way
and attacks at lowly hours

It begins there in your heart

spreads through your body then
right up to your thoughts and feelings
your muscles and your body spent

Then extra hard it works

on to your own good health
picking at your very being
Stealing from your heart and wealth

Lonliness can surely kill

Sadness starts it out
beginning as a little voice
Then fills you full of tears and doubt

No longer can you bear the thought

Of another lonely day
Sadness whispers in your ear
you absence will make it all OK
