Bills Poem

Words so tender and so dear

unshackled, they burst forth no longer barred by fear
the greatest words this mortal man could e'er hear
whispered from the lips of my angel, they fell upon my ear
I tasted their sweetness, as they dripped like honey from her lips
spoken in gentle tone, then vanished like mist
yet this all matters little, for they are eternally
grafted within my mind
to be remembered always, until the end of time
bringing warmth to my soul, so cherished and true
forever remembering that brief shining moment,
when my angel said. .I love you.
