Time

Can't we stop the hands from rounding,
Our time is flying by.
Days and weeks go cruising past,
Like pages in a windy sky.

Our children grown and married,

With little ones at their feet.
Always hurry hurry go go go,
Time never misses a beat.

Months and years don't even slow,

When marching from the past.
Next thing you know your time is up,
Old age is here too fast.
