Starfire and His Lady

Swifter than an eagle in full flight,
Striking sparks with hooves in deepest night.
A horse made of ice and pure fire,
With mystical magic and sinews of wire.
No other horse could think to compete
With this, the fleetest of the fleet.
Power hidden in a slender grace,
But when he moves it shows in his pace.
Wild but steadfast, deadly but brave.
Obeying one whom he would give his life to save.
Only one who rides him, forever, and aye,
He follows her without question, never asks why.
Loyal to each other, are those two,
And to any friend they’re always true.
But to any foe, evil beware!
They oppose any evil when before none so bold,
For light and freedom are worth more than gold
To the lady of fire and her beloved steed.
They go far and wide, wherever there is need.
Mystery, power, magic and light,
Go with them as they carry on the fight.
Till the end of time they will keep on,
Immortal figures on legend’s horizon.
