For Mamma Marsha

To Mamma Marsha,

I found you in deepest night,
Somehow I knew that was not right.

So I offered my love, and friedship dear.
Gifts from above they washed away your fear.

Now I see you in bright sunlight,
and I can say: Yeah, now that's right!

Your laughter rings clear,
and I hold it so dear.

Your hope now is so strong.
That I know I was not wrong.

They say don't talk to strangers.
Be wary of the dangers.

However with you I could not go wrong.
For you'd been lost for far too long...

Lift up your heart, raise your face and smile.
For I promise like I did from the start, I'm going to be here a while.

This simple rhyming poem was written for and is dedictated to Mamma Marsha. She is a strong woman who has overcome some pretty awesome obstacles. Yet for all of the rough roads in her life her heart is still full of love and a pure dedication to friendships gifts.

Marsha, mother of my heart, I love you, I always will.
