Mom,
She's the most wonderful person I shall ever know.
She's loved me and cared for me and allowed me to grow.
She has held me when I was afraid.
And when I set out on my own, oh how she prayed.
Not because she feared I could not make it.
Because she worried I'd not need her love or I'd break it.
All the hours she's spent worrying for me...
Mom, don't you know? Your love sets me free.
I don't call as often as I should, that's true.
Yet my heart and thoughts are never far from you.
