Soft words
I could say a thousand soft words.
All of them telling just how much you mean to me.
All of them telling of the value of your friendship.
I could say a thousand soft words.
It's just that none of them would say it well enough.
None of my words can tell you just how wonderfull you are.
I could say a thousand soft words.
All of them psalms of praise and joy.
Yet they'd never do you justice.
I could say a thousand soft words.
I could, but I will settle for these few instead.
I am so proud to call you my friend.
This poem was written for and inspired by my wonderfull
friend Lady Dinah. I wrote it because I wanted to tell her
just how splendid she is. I wanted to tell her just how
much she means to me. I hope this poem did that. Thank
you Lady Dinah.
