You came dancing into my life, all unexpected, but not
uninvited. You swept me off my feet with your sweet words.
The ones I so desperately wanted to hear. For a while the
world was all shades of bright undiminnishing light.
Rainbow clouds in hues of scarlet, ceruean blue, and
purest white filled the horizons. My mind was filled only
with thoughts of you.
Then swiftly as you came, you were gone. You said only
"goodbye, I know you'll understand" With your leaving you
stole the suns warmth, and robbed my eyes of their sight.
So now I stand huddled in the cold eternal night. One
thought in my mind: Why?
