Congratulations WILLAH WEDDON of Stockbridge!

Willah Weddon was awarded the coveted "MARTHA RAYNE AWARD" for research about media history in the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame contest on April 17th in the Kellogg Center on the Michigan State University Campus.

Willah Weddon, a charter member of the Michigan Press Women since 1965, collected material for years about the Michigan Press Women. She served as the State President, was secretary of the National Federation of Press Women, Inc. and on numerous comittees at both levels. She has received more than 100 awards for her newspaper, magazine and book writing as well as for photography, public relations and editing. She presently writes the "Back Page" column for the State Organization!

Michigan Magazine had the extreme pleasure of spending a few hours with Willah at her Stockbridge Michigan Home (Show #633) where she shared with us her love of writing about Michigan's leaders.
