If you are a Hansonfan, I'm quite sure you've heard mean comments about Hanson. People who keep making fun of them and call the "Gay" "fags" "girls" or something like that. You know what I'm talking about right? Hansonhaters are everywhere! It's not only on the internet, and it's not only guys. There are many girls who hate Hanson. Maybe you find a Hansonhater in your teatcher at school, in your girlfriends or in that georgerous guy in your class. Hansonhaters are everywhere. Lets say you hear someone say someting really mean and unfair about Hanson. It really makes you mad. What do you do?? Do you stand up for your favorite band?? Or do pretend you didn't hear anything...??
If you are a real Hansonfan, you stand up for Hanson whatever that happens. I've been standing up for Hanson in like every way and I'm trying to ignore mean comments about them, but sometimes it's so hard. It really hurts when they keep blaming them for everything. Beeing a Hansonfan is not that easy, I know that. But no matter what everybody says, you have to show them you love Hanson and that NOBODY can change your mind. If you can't change their minds about Hanson, then fine! but they're not gonna try to change YOUR mind about Hanson! Sometimes I think those Hansonhaters don't really HATE Hanson, I just think they need someone to hate, and then they pick Hanson because "It's Okey to hate them" Do you know what I mean? Sometimes I think they hate Hanson because enyone else does. It's much easier to hate them then to love them. This really makes me mad, bacause when your mates tell you mean things about Hanson (when they know you love them) It really turns out to something else. It's not about Hanson anymore. It's about hurting someone else's feelings. It's about you and your opinions, not about Hanson. They KNOW they're making you mad by saying mean things about Hanson. They KNOW they're hurting you. But they also know that you can't say anything back because they hate every singel band and the world and of caurse, everybody will agree with them about Hanson. Everybody but you (and your friends maybe) which means you are the loser. You can't win. That is what I call playing a COWARDLY game. I mean...Could you be more of a chicken?!! You know you'll break the others heart and there is no way you can lose. Hansonhaters are a bunch of chickens. But should we accept it?? They blame us for liking a band they don't like....!!? (Yes, it's patetic)
So...The question is, what can you do to make them understand, or at least respect!? Well...The secret is, stand up for Hanson anytime anywhere always. It seems like the best thing to do if you want everyone to make fun of them but it's not true, beleive me. I've tryed it myself, and it worked. When I started to like Hanson, everybody was making fun of me and Hanson. It wasen't that easy and even though no-one noticed, they hurted me a lot. They were waiting for the day I would give them right, I would say I don't like Hanson anymore. But that day never came, I kept standing up for Hanson. And a half year later people came up to me telling me they were going to buy the new Hanson CD! (Yes it's true) and I was like "great" But it wasn't like I forgot how they used to make fun of me for beeing a Hansonfan. Isn't if funny how some people change?? I guess I've been lucky cuz eveybody I know have absolutly no problem with the fact that I like Hanson. That's just the way it is and everyone knows. I like Hanson. That's it. It was worse when I was younger...then it was more important to like a "cool" band. (Like Manson or somthing...hehe) But, I think this is important to talk about, as I've seen people being treated like trash because of their taste of music. It dosn't make sense. I know this girl who's a big fan of the Backstreet boys. Everybody was making fun of her every day. One day, she gave it up and she said "I don't like The Backstreet boys anymore" Do you think she got more respect now?? NO! Of course not. She was too weak, she didn't stand up for her feelings. Now she's never gonna be excepted for who she is. I'm not blaming her, but I just think she shouldn't have let them put her down like that.
Whatever you do, keep lovin' Hanson and keep standing up for them. Then it's up to everybody else to respect you for who you are. If they don't, they don't deserve your friendship anyway!! Come on guys!! Give me some Hanson power!! :-)
