Walleyes continue to move into river systems.Spoons, jigging raps and, jigs and minnows are your ticket to success fished vertically whether through the ice or on open water.
Inland lakes action is heating up at this time as bluegills and crappies start feeding more regularly.
Start your search off the edge of weedbeds and work deeper as the morning fades.Towards evening start working your way back to the weed edges.

The Saginaw Bay area is producing good numbers of walleye for anglers willing to get away from the crowds.
Woody's Live Bait is located at the point of Michigan,
Mackinaw and Gratiot across from McDonalds and opens

Lake St Clair action has been spotty for perch and the key to finding reasonably consistent action is to locate good weed beds and stay away from crowds.

Most Southeastern lower Michigan lakes are starting to pick up and will continue to do so untill ice out.
Good Bets for Crappie and Bluegills in Livingston County are Chemung, Big Crooked, Portage and Big Silver Lakes although access is limited on Big Silver and Portage.
Walleyes can be found in small numbers on Chemung and Woodland Lakes while Big Portage continues to produce a few good size fish for anglers with access.
