The Kitchen
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to our show. Tonight, the Kitchen Crew (composed of many voices inside Amber's head) have prepared a very special poetry selection for you. It contains details from some interesting places inside Amber's mind, so enjoy your visit. Please, stay a while. Be sure to come back and tell all of your friends about the one place insanity truely shines: Amber's poetry. Thank you, and goodnight. -The Kitchen Crew
Introduction
I'm glad, so glad, you've entered my door.
An entrance to my soul, this is my hobby.
Relax here my friend and visit the lobby.
I hope that you'll travel further down the corridor.
If you've come from these places, step into the bedroom.
Or take a walk in the Garden, outside the door.
Poem Something
- Determine this in sweet sanity linger
- Express all the love with thy middle finger
- Hello to the patrons of happiless time
- Courtrooms upon insence, so sublime
- Take off your shoes and stay a while
- For I am the only one who's on trial
- Metal blossoms of fate to decorate my brow
- I've come from the darkness to make one more vow
- Insanity thickens warm passage of blood
- Into my brain to clear up the mud
- Summer retreating to distant shores
- You cannot leave till you tell me your scores
- Whisper the world into brown paper tread
- And keep of the nothingness inside thy head
- Worship the grass, sweet, gentle and plain
- Devious yesterdays perturbing the rain
- Deep down the roseway burning like mad
- Hang from the leaftops, do not say you're sad
- Work with my absense, plant of despair
- And forgive the plainness and length of my hair
- Trust, like insanity, goes a long way
- Come from tomorrow and save today
- I wouldn't be writing if I was mentally strong
- This poem is boring and very very long
