The Great Dougie Brown- one of the Redwing's best-kept secrets. A powerful and effective defenseman who puts his whole heart into the game, but doesn't get the fame and publicity as some of the other players- kinda like a secret weapon. Doug was unfortunatly injured during at the begining of the '98 playoffs with a separated shoulder, but he recovered in time to play in the third round vs. Dallas, and his first game back, he scored two goals! What a guy! In the summer of '98 Doug was unprotected in the expansion draft, and was aquired by Nashville, but luckily Holland and the rest of the management pulled things together and got Dougie back in return for some draft picks. So now he's here to stay!
