And Yet More
Geographic Wonders (Geography Gallery #3)
This photo gallery highlights various locations that
were visited during Western Michigan University's May 2001 Regional
Geography field course to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National
Parks. The field course was taught by my friend Stephen
Podewell. Over 60 locations were visited during the 15-day
journey to and from
Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. I went along as an
assistant. I was a graduate student at the time.
We left on May 6, 2001
at 9:00 a.m. and returned on May 20, 2001 at 10:30 p.m. Several
of these pages include pictures of the students who went on the
trip. The participants included: Julie Dunn, Jessica Engel, Stacy
Gabrich, Lindsay Gwyther, Matthew
Hill, Erin Hutchinson, Josh Koets, Douglas Lake, Jr., Cheryl LeFaive,
Stephen Podewell (instructor), Jill McDonald, Robert Ruhf (assistant),
Scott Sandusky, Jennifer Sikorski, Amber Wilde, Mary Worthy, and Tom
Wrobel
(assistant).
