Year Introduced 1988 Interesting Facts Coca-Cola products are produced by the company's two authorized bottlers, Al-Ahlia Gulf Line General Trading Company (AGL), based in Al Ain; and National Refreshments Company (NRC), based in Dubai. The company and its bottling partners directly employ approximately 600 people in the UAE. The company supports environmental awareness programs for young people in a variety of ways. As part of the Conservation Hamoul campaign of Emirates Environmental Group and HEF Foundation, the company helped to produce an education pack and contest for 8-12 year old students, with the winner receiving a trip to the Melbourne Zoo in Australia as well as a computer for the winner's school. The company also produced an education pack as part of the Emirates Environmental Group "Don't Waste Our World" program. So far 15,000 students ages 8-15 have received the pack.
