Brief History:

The man we know only as "Logan" has a history that is clouded. A mutant born in Canada, Logan was born with keen animal senses and the ultimate healing factor. Nobody know how old he really is because his healing factor has slowed his aging. A while back, he was captured by a scientist and his bones were infused with the unbreakable metal adamantium. The metal also gave him three claws on each hand. After his escape he became the ultimate weapon. At first taking the name "Weapon X," then taking the name "Wolverine," Logan served with the Canadian secret service, the Canadian hero team known as Alpha Flight, and the American C.I.A. before showing up on Professor Xavier's doorstep. After joining the X-Men, he fought side-by-side with his team mates, never letting them down. After an unfortunate battle with Magneto, however, his adamantium was stripped from his body almost killing him. Because his body had been used to having them, where there was once metal claws remain razor sharp bone claws. For a while, Logan left the X-Men to find himself and find a new purpose with the team. He eventually rejoined the team and helped train new members. There was even an incident when former Morlocke named Marrow challenged Logan. After a futile fight where Logan had her beaten to teach her a lesson, she used one of her bone knives and stabbed him in the throat. She learned really quick that she went too far when Logan went into a berserker rage and almost killed her. He has an uncontrollable temper the lead him to Apocalypse. Forcing him to fight Sabertooth (a mutant named Victor Creed who is almost identical to Logan in almost every way, only bigger.) to see who would become his Horseman of Death, Logan defeated him. Apocalypse then rebonded adamantium to Logan's bones and made him his Horseman of Death. he then unwillingly helped in the near conquest of Earth. With the help of Psylocke, Angel, and Jubilee, Logan was freed of his conditioning by Apocalypse. After his near death experience from the actions of the High Evolutionary, Logan realized that he should start looking after his adopted daughter Amiko while still be a member of the X-Men.
