The X-Men have been around for a good while now. We have seen team members die and others join up. Their founder, Professor Charles Xavier, started the team because he has a dream of that one day that humans and mutants could live together in peace someday. He has left the team many times for various reasons. The most recent reason is because of the loss of Scott Summers, A.K.A. Cyclops, who was his very first student. Scott "died" stopping Apocalypse from posessing Nate Grey's, A.K.A. X-Man, body. Because of this, Shadowcat has become more rebellious, Gambit and Rouge became the leaders of the X-Men, and Cable (son of Cyclops) joined the team after refusing for a long time.
