this is my bus tranny waiting to get
installed after i
change the chassis over to IRS (i will do a detailed
HOW-TO on this conversion)
this is my 76' type 2 2000cc short block that i have
sitting around (maybe sometime down the road i'll
be able to rebuilt it.$$$$$)
my first engine pull
i had to replace my rear seal and clutch
i painted my fenders and boy does it look
sooo much better in stead of white fenders
my first voyage after fixin my brakes and
alignment i went to my folks
house for sunday dinner and i didnt have hood hold downs yet but
i
thought that the springs of the hinges would hold the hood down.
i was wrong.
it was windy and rainy, and i was drivin down the road and was in
3rd gear
and i hadnt had it in fourth gear yet, soooo the second i shifted
into 4th
my hood went sailing!!!!!! lucky me the fiberglass didnt crack.
so i put the
hood in my back seat and drove the rest of the way to my folks. i
had to go
a couple of other places after dinner and i needed to get home so
i had to
drill a hole and put a eyebolt in and bungy strap it to the front
beam.
this is my old floor after i put a new one
in. it was pretty bad.
