Mirada and I
Doc - Attack with Revolver & Guard
(Decoy John Johnston of Boston, Mass.)
At Chevaliers du Noir Beaucerons I strive to keep the Beauceron the versatile working breed that it should be. In my breeding program I place a strong emphasis on working drive, correct temperament, sound structure and correct conformation. I work my Beaucerons in French Ring Sport, Search and Rescue, as well as herding, tracking and therapy. Even though my dogs are worked and titled, they are also a large part of the family. They live indoors, travel everywhere with me, and are in frequent contact with other people, including children and the elderly. A well-balanced dog is very important to me, not just as a working dog, but also a companion.
Les Chevaliers du Noir is the home of "Doc" Ring I, SAR certified & active, Police K-9 (certified and "on call"), Cotation 3 (Excellent), CGC, TDI, CERF, GDC "Excellent," elbows, heart, and shoulders normal. Doc is the first American-bred Beauceron to be owner trained/handled to Ring I. He is very strong in his character and is a very solid, hard dog but also social and outgoing with people. Doc is proven to produce puppies with very high drive and solid nerve. Out of his first litter 2 are Police K-9s, 2 are certified SAR dogs and another is a protection trained service dog. His second litter is growing up nicely, and will be titling and/or certifying soon (offspring working in Police, SAR, French Ring, etc respectively). Doc is standing at stud to approved bitches only.
I also own Mirada, Brevet, SAR certified & active, Police K-9, CGC, TDI, Assistance Dog, CERF, GDC "Good," elbows, heart, and shoulders normal. Mirada will trial for her Ring I this summer/fall. She is also continuing her education credits for narcotics certification through DEA. Mirada is a very hard (but social) bitch who's very strong in her character with extreme drives (Malinois drive/Beauceron nerve) and is also very correct in conformation.
