Old Courthouse
This section of my page contains a photo of the old, original courthouse, known as the convento to the townsfolk. It consisted of three rooms and served as Lincoln's courthouse through the Lincoln County War. Dances and conventions were also frequently held in this building. It ceased to be used as a courthouse in late 1880, when Tom Catron sold the old Murphy-Dolan store to the county for use as the new courthouse.
