The photo on the left is of Sallie Chisum, probably around age seventeen to nineteen. On the right comes a photo from Sallie's own collection, depicting a woman of very similar facial characteristics (i.e. the hair parted in the middle, frowning mouth, distinct jawline and chin). While the hair is obviously darker, this could account somewhat to age, as this woman is obviously many years older than the seventeen-year-old Sallie.
