Shelly won Best in Sweepstakes at Medina Kennel Club the day after the Western Reserve Dalmatian Club specialty,
Best in Sweepstakes at the Indianapolis Dalmatian Club specialty Under breeder judge, Rod Strand,
and Best Senior in Sweepstakes at the Canadian National Specialty.
She went Winners Bitch at the Western Reserve Specialty,
then went Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex over specials the next day
and finally,
Winners Bitch and Best of Breed over specials the following day,
winning three consecutive majors and finishing her championship at seventeen months.

With limited showing as a special, she received multiple group placements and was also a group winner. Shelly was 4th in Brood Bitch at the 1997 Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty and 1st in Brood Bitch in 1998 at The Dalmatian Club of Detroit Specialty.
