Q.U.E.E.R.(Free-30pgs-Fullsize-newspaper print)From the interviews with THE IMPOTENT SEA SNAKES & a transexual undergoing hormonal treatment, to the comics & tranny cut-out paper dolls, this seems to be some zine leaning toward the sexually er....um....perverse for lack of a better term (but some in humor). Also contains some reviews (including indie film reviews), articles & a crossword puzzle. P.O.Box 52812 New Orleans, LA 70152-2812 (chad od)

LOS HOMBRES DE MAL HUMOR (#1-xerox-38pgs-2 stamps)Getting that tingly feeling in the lower bowel regions? Those man of steel goosebumps that let you know it's time to grab the closest form of literature and break for the john? This zine is highly recommended for that position. Chock full of nothing but humor. Whether you laugh hysterically or roll your eyes and label it silly, it'll still entertain you for that special intimate moment between you and your porcelin. Los Hombres 18456 Lost Lake Way, Jupiter, FL 33458 (chad od)
FREEZER POPS(#1& #2-xerox-1/2 size-27pgs-2stamps)This is done by the same guy who does LOS HOMBRES....They are similiar to his new zine but not quite as good or as long. Interviews in issue #1 include: EL CHUPACABRA (pretty much a Mexican Bigfoot), & LESS THAN JAKE. 2nd issue has an interview with porn star & world record breaker JASMINE STCLAIRE. Both contain a ton of humor. 18456 Lost Lake Way, Jupiter, FL 33458 (chad od)
SWANKHOLE(#2-xerox-1/2 size-19pgs-$1.00ppd)A coupla stories, tips on scamming, opinionated stuff, lots of cut and paste, "ask Dr. Swank" (hey now), & more of those DADGUM show reviews and you've got Swankhole....I read it too fast which is a compliment I guess. Next time I hope they put something out that I can read for more than two trips to the john. P.O.Box 1606 Carmel, NY 10512 (chad od)
REVOLUTION CALLING(#12-30pgs-1/2size-newsprint)The coolest thing about this here zine is the fact that they reprinted our "Boycott Kelloggs" article we did for our 1st issue. Not only did they reprint it but they're selling "Kelloggs Sucks" & "Boycott Kelloggs-They Put They're Employees Last" stickers. Revolution Calling is put out by a head strong & intelligent young woman. It's got articles: A Fear of Technology, Anti-American Anti-Vivasection Society & more. As well as some personal stories both humorous and "make you think" type of stuff, & I think she has a thing for her teacher. He's "the most intelligent person" she's ever met. She likes to say that. P.O.Box 304 Mason, MI. 48854 (chad od)
MUTANT RENEGADE ZINE (#10-Free local/$2ppd-46pgs-standard size-newspaper print)The special computer technology issue doesn't have anything to do with either computers nor technology (except for a small article on the editors computer crashing) so I don't know what that means. Interviews with JOEL LENSCH (LARRY BYRDS, ART OF CHOKE), 12 TRIBES, & electronic music pioneer LARRY FAST. Cool articles on self education & being a punk but liking mainstream alos and that being alright & not really fitting into a "scene", 3pgs. of poetry, music & zine reviews, live reviews & more. A good zine not smothered in ads. P.O.Box 3445 Dayton, OH 45401 (chad od)
FAZE 3(#22-Free-29pgs-newsprint-standard size)This is a pretty cool freebie. Columns & articles. The above zine reviews were taken from COD #3 which had a major distribution problem so to be fair to all the hard zinesters out there we decided to post them on the site, so keep in mind that they are older reviews and there are no images for them. Images for every zine reviewed from here on out will be posted.
