Princes Diana is a mystical being molded of clay by her mother Hippolyta, and imbued by the Greek goddess Aphrodite with the spirit of a daughter Hippolyta lost in the womb over 30,000 years before. Diana was chosen from all the women of Themyscira by a contest of strength and skill to be their ambassador in the world of Men, an honor that carried the title of Wonder Woman.
