Led by the powerful being named Larfleeze, the Orange Lantern Corps is powered by the Orange Light of Avarice. Larfleeze, himself, is the only living Orange Lantern. Originally, the rest the "Lanterns" are those beings killed for attempting to take his Orange Power Battery for themselves. Their greed sealed their fates, and in death, they became his. Now, any being Larfleeze consumes becomes an "Orange Lantern" and their deaths results in the creation of an Orange Power Ring.
Okaara in the Vega System is the homeworld of the Orange Lantern Corps, and it was in that system Larfleeze remained for millennia because it was ceded to him by the Guardians of the Universe, Because of the Guardians' perceived broken promises, the Orange Lantern Corps now wants more than merely what is in their borders.
