HUSBAND AND WIFE
Walking along a moonlit path,
As one we walk into the grass.
Upon a bench we sit, you and I,
Together forever, side by side.
We started this walk
fifty years ago, to the day,
Neither would have it any other way.
Holding your frail hand in mine,
I'll love you forever, till the end of time.
And though we know ... our time is near,
We won't waste our time, shedding a tear.
Looking back at all we've done,
Our beautiful daughter, and our son,
Good times and bad, we've shared them all.
We took turns picking each other up, after a fall.
For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health,
The love in our hearts, is our measure of wealth.
So when the time comes, that it's our turn to go,
When the angels appear, I want you to know,
We'll have no regrets, we've lived a full life.
They'll remember us always, us....husband and wife.

LOVE CYCLE
I remember as a child, watching the tide
My mother and father, on either side
Hand in hand, we would walk the docks
And watch as the waves, play against the rocks
As a teen full of life, I would run and I would race
As the years rolled past, I beat even fathers pace
Ice cream cones and hotdogs galore
These things I remember, walking along the shore
But time has moved forward, and now a young man
Stands by a young woman, holding her hand.
The soft glow of moonlight, cast from above
Shines down upon them, as they declare their love.
The son now a father, and a mother is she
For two years ago, they had a baby
And so each taking his hand, and sharing their love
The cycle continues, as the moon smiles above.

SPIDER AND ME
What a wonderful day, to be flying around
Not walking along, like a bug on the ground
Barrel roll, upside down, big loopty-loop
Turn on a dime then straight up to… OOPS!
Well what have we here, said with "devil-may-care"
It’s silvery and sticky, and came out of nowhere
Doesn’t look like the portal, that they used in "Sliders"
I wonder if it's that thing, that they say holds a spider?
Looking around, with my big beady eyes
I see little balls of silk, now what could be inside
Feeling a jiggle, I look to the right
Upon seeing what I saw, I was given a fright
OH Spider!! dear spider, don’t eat me just yet
I’m not at all, as big as I’ll get
Give me a week, I’ll be bigger you’ll see
Now how do I leave, before he feasts upon me?
"Oh Please Mr. Spider, I’m not ready to die"
"Welcome to my parlor", said the spider to me.. the fly
"I take no pleasure, in taking your life
But it’s food that I seek, for my children and my wife".
