I remember your lullabies,
that sad "first day of school.. good-bye", And "sleep tight... Don't let the bed bugs bite". I remember macaroni necklaces,
Hugs to heal my aches and pains, And "I'm right here sweetie.. Everything's all right. I remember cookie dough, Making snow cones out of clean snow, And all the finger paintings.. You hung on the fridge. I remember your perfume,
your jewelry box, our dress-up days. I remember your putting lipstick on me, if only just a smidge. I remember your warm hands, The sparkle of your wedding band, Your smile, your laughter, As rich as they could be. I wished so much to be like you,
And you know what, Mom? I still do! I'm thankful and proud to have had **A Special Mom...Like YOU.** "You Are Missed... So Very Much" "I Will Love You Always"...Your Daughter...DONNA > **This Poem Is Dedicated To My Mother**
