Chapter Two

Me- Hey, this is gonna sound weird. But you look really familiar

Erik-Yeah, I'm an actor.

Me- Oh really, anything recent?

Erik-Yeah, actually I was recently in the Princess Diaries.

Me-That's where I know you from, you were in that skating movie too, right?

Erik- Yah.

All of a sudden, Usher's You Remind Me, started playing. "C'mon I love this song!" I said as I grabbed Erik's hand and pulled him over to where everyone was dancing. Mark was right, I was having a pretty good time with Erik. We had been dancing practically all night, and we were really connecting. A slow song came on and I wrapped my arms around Erik's neck while he wrapped his arms around my waist. Erik leaned down (he's 6'1, I'm 5'4) and kissed me. I felt a real spark of something there, until

"Oooh, playing a little tongue twister, Christine?" I heard someone say behind me. I turned around and it was the two last people I wanted to see at that moment, or ever. Standing there was Alex, my ex, holding hands with the girl he cheated on me with, Tiffany.

"What the hell do you want, Alex?" I said my voice filled with anger and hurt.

"I just wanted to see who your with now that I dumped you"

"Correction Alex, I dumped you, because you cheated on me with that skank" I exclaimed while looking at tiffany, who was busy staring at Erik.

"I'm not a skank" Tiffany squeaked in her annoying high-pitched voice. Erik came and put his arm around my waist.

"Christine, I would have thought," Alex began, "that after going out with me, that you would have better taste than to go out with crap like that."

"Bullshit, Alex. Erik is sooo much better than you. So why don't you and your little whore go somewhere and leave us alone!" I practically screamed.

"What does actor boy think he's better than the rest of us?" Alex muttered as he threw a punch as Erik. Erik was easily able to duck, and miss Alex's weak throw.

"This is how a real man fights, asswipe." Erik said while he threw a punch at Alex, who tried to duck, but he still got hit.

"C'mon, Tiff. We don't wanna be seen with these losers." Alex sulked away while Tiffany obediently followed, while still looking at Erik.

"Oh Alex, one more thing, Erik is a better kisser than you ever were!" I called after him. Erik and I then picked up where we left off. The party ended roughly about 1 am.

"So, Christine do you want to do something this afternoon? Mark told me that you surf, do you wanna go surfing?" Erik asked while staring at with his beautiful blue eyes.

"I'd love to, just let me go home an sleep. I'll pick you up at12:30, ok?"

"Yah, ok see you then," with a kiss and a wave Erik turned around and walked into the house. I fished for my keys out of my purse, and walked to my silver BMW. As Erik was in the middle of changing, his cell phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey Erik, what's up?"

"Um, who's this?"

"It's me silly, your girlfriend."
