This picture is the result of a last minute scramble to fulfill a shallow depth of field assignment. This bike not only happened to be wedged in the stairwell at an oddly perfect angle for a shallow d.o.f shot focused on the back tire, but also it was right there in front of me when i got my camera and I only had a half hour before class.
