Trout Opener
I had some good luck again this year for the first day of trout season. These three brown trout all came on the spinner in the picture. I was fishing on a creek in the U.P. that flows through the club I belong to. The picture below is right near where I caught all of these fish. |

King Salmon
This King Salmon weighed almost 25 pounds. I caught it on a charter out of Rogers City, MI. This port is one of the best on the Lake Huron side of the state. Fish over 30 pounds are caught occasionally. This was the first of three fish caught that day, and we've gone on one more trip since and took home six more nice Kings. The charter boat was "Fish Ahoy". |
