Ida Husted Harper One of the primary objectives of the suffrage movement was the dissemination of information pertaining to a woman's right to vote. Ida Husted Harper was known for creating publicity for the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA) and serving as biographer for Susan B. Anthony . Probably her most notable contribution was the role she played as editor, along with Stanton, Gage, and Anthony, and publisher of the first three volumes of the suffrage texts, History of Woman Suffrage. Her long journalistic career spread from (1872 - 1913) and included numerous contributions to the success of the women's suffrage movement.
