Jared
Land started in the year 1673 F.A. (Fourth Age) when a civil war broke
out in Talkitia. The west side became Jared land, (ruled by king Jared)
and the east side became Relistria. Their armies battled for 53 years until
Relistria got worn out and asked for peace. Jared land soon became a powerful
nation known for it's ability in taming the many dragons that lived in
the Belsten hills. With the dragon the Jared land army grew great and soon
defeated the small countries to the north and the swamp country of Rachel
Land to the south. The expert blacksmiths made armor out of Loshthing,
a type of metal that cannot be pierced and can only be melted by the hottest
of fire.
Now
in Jared land we are at peace and have few enemies, but we still keep up
our guard and never trust any land that we have fought, and so Jared Land
prospers.
Jared
Land has great legends telling everything from fighting with dragons to
the giant fire breathing rats and great sea snakes. Such as the tale of
Ilesting, the warrior who went into the connected pools of the giant sea
snakes. He dove down into a pool and found a secret cave filled with gold
and jewels. Two years later he came back with an army to try and
find more, instead Ilesting found a snake nest with seventeen eggs which
one he took and raised, and when it was full grown it laid more eggs and
hatched them. Soon Jared Land had seventy two serpents trained to
have many saddles on their back and carry a company of men. With
these 7,200 men he rode across the ocean on the south border of Jared Land
to attack Enchar a highly guarded country. The attack resulted with
great losses for both sides. In the end Jared Land was forced to
retreat with losses of 3,650 men and 20 serpents. Ilesting soon retired
to a life of black smithery with the red metal loshthing.
