Lois G. Rosenthal

Lois G. Rosenthal, nee Bolender, 75, of West Bend, formerly of Wauwatosa, passed away on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 in Mesa, Ariz.
She was born on July 6, 1928 in Milwaukee to the late John and Eunice (Kruse) Bolender, and married Thomas E. Riddle.
She then married Royal W. Rosenthal on June 23, 1979 at Wellington Park Lutheran Church of Milwaukee. He passed away on Aug. 26, 2001.
Lois was a kindergarten teacher for the Milwaukee Public School System for more than 25 years, retiring in the early 1980s.
She loved to travel and was a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Milwaukee.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas G. (Mary) Riddle of Wauwatosa and Scott (Pam) Riddle of Janesville; six grandchildren, Thomas A., Steven (Lesley), Colleen, Kelly (Cory) Fuhr, Casey (Mike) Wagner and Kendra (Todd) Duehl; four brothers, Peter (Pat) Bolender, Richard (Janet) Bolender, John (Suzanne) Bolender and Mark (Lynne) Bolender; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend.

Pastor Paul Mittermaier of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jackson, will officiate, and cremation has taken place in Mesa.
Visitation at the funeral home will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
Memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association or the Ronald McDonald House.
