1880 census in Silver City, Lyon Co., Nevada: Julius A. Huntoon, a 33 year old "laborer" born in Vermont, lived with his wife Alida Huntoon, age 24, born in Michigan, and his 14 year old sister-in-law Emma H. Gilbert, born in California. Alida and Emma's father was born in Michigan, and their mother in Canada.
