Knowlton Wilson was born 02/22/1820 in Searsburg, Vermont. He married Hanna D. Carroll before 1848. He died on 09/27/1863 and is buried in Restland Cemetery with his wife Hanna. Children are: Elizabeth (Eliza), wife of William Edward Shippee, Flora Ella Wilson DOB: 08/16/1853 - married Homer Daniel Sprague on 05/12/1874 and died 07/02/1896 in Readsboro, Vermont, and Ellen DOB: 1847 in Fitzwilliam, NH and died 1849.

She is buried in Restland Cemetery in Wilmington, Vermont with her husband Knowlton. Their children are: Elizabeth (Eliza), wife of William Edward Shippee, Flora Ella DOB: 08/16/1853 in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire - Married Homer Daniel Sprague on 05/12/1874 and died on 07/02/1896 in Readsboro, Vermont, also Ellen DOB: 1847 in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire and died in 1849.

Another date found for Eliza's birth is 08/05/1848, Place: Fitzwilliam, NH. Marriage: 08/25/1869. Place: Whitingham, Vermont. Recorded: Wilmington, Vermont. She died on 10/17/1912 in Dover, Vermont. She is buried in Riverview Cemetery in Wilmington, Vermont with her husband and 2 sons, Knowlton and Crayton. Other information found is that the Reverend H. Eastman married them in Jacksonville, Vermont.

William and Elizabeth (Eliza) were married on 08/25/1869. He was a mechanic in Searsburg, Vermont. His death is recorded in Wilmington Book 9 page 106 and he is buried in Riverview Cemetery in Wilmington with his wife Eliza and his sons Crayton and Knowlton Shippee. William served in the Civil War as a Private, enlistment beginning August 15, 1862. His enlistment in Company A, 2nd Infantry Regiment Vermont began on September 15, 1862. He was wounded on May 03, 1863 and again on May 05, 1864 and mustered out on July 12, 1865.
