Made his home in Robinson District, Mason County where he was engaged in agricultural pursuits.  He was a soldier in the UNion Army during the Revoltn. Serving as Corporal of company G 13th West Virginia Volunteers.  He was school trustee to Robinson District and a road surveyor. From Hardesty's West Virginia Counties Volume 5 - Jim Comstock Richmond Virginia '73 Enlisted at age 24 on Feb 28, 1864

Buried in Flatrock, West Virginia Lutton Cemetery - in the sticks.  I have been there and no marker is present only the old cemetary records.  His wife's parents are there however.
