1.  LOUIS WILLIAM¹ STAUB¹ was born WFT Est. 1837-1866 in Delaware¹, and died WFT Est. 1891-1951¹.  He married CATHERINE ERB¹ WFT Est. 1863-1906².  She was born WFT Est. 1846-1869 in Delaware³, and died WFT Est. 1891-1957³.

From speaking with Mabel Kathryn Staub, I learned that this German couple was very dominant over their children.  She mentioned that this man came to Missouri and expected his children to follow.  He expected to make the decisions for the whole family - even after his sons had grown.  Some or all of his sons came with him to Missouri to help start orchards, vineyards, and help on the farm. He died of Gangrene in 1937 or so

2.  LOUIS HENRY² STAUB (LOUIS WILLIAM¹)³ was born 09 Apr 1888 in New York City, New York County, New York³, and died 09 Aug 1982 in Pierce City, Lawrence County, Missouri³.  He married MABEL OLIVE HART³ 01 Nov 1911 in Seaford, Sussex County, Delaware⁴, daughter of MILTON HART and SARAH MARTIN.  She was born 31 Dec 1890 in Rawlinsville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania⁵, and died 22 Sep 1978 in Pierce City, Lawrence County, Missouri⁵.
