- Major Skrew -
The biggest, most intellectual homosexual to come straight out of East Germany (that would be before the wall came down). Pioneering above all as founder and CEO of Major Skrew RecordsĀ©, he is the leading force behind The Hump-Delicious Sexicons. Even though his name is in the title, he rarely appears on recordings, sometimes only contributing his artistic skills to 1-2 songs. Although the ladies adore him, he loves pork sausage and does not support the eating of clams.
- Paul Timothy -
It all began in 1991, while watching a music video (Metallica - Wherever I May Roam), Paul came to the conclusion that he wanted to play the guitar. Sometime in 1992, his grandfather while in Kentucky, purchased a vintage Fender Mustang and 45 watt Peavey amp from a kind woman who was selling them because they had been sitting in the closet ever since her husband bought them in the 1970's and never learned to play. In early 1993, Paul began talking to a fellow classmate (Lance Herber - Bones of Contention) who also played guitar. Paul asked if he would like to form a band even though Paul himself rarely practiced and never took any lessons. So they formed a band and began practicing every chance they got. Mostly the time was spend sitting in a basement talking about stuff rather than actually writing or playing any music. Paul and Lance talked a few friends into joining up and the band began to take form. The band was:
Paul Timothy - rhythm guitar
Lance Herber - lead guitar
Ted Delaire - bass
Jacob Harrison - drums
Jacob was kicked out because of failure to ever make a practice so Jason Fant took his place. That lasted about a day before he left to join another band. Now drummerless, Marco Frank was at this time chosen to be a second bassist. Ted was originally assigned to vocals as well as bass because he was the only member with a microphone. It turned out best that he didn't sing and the group began taking auditions that lasted many years. Nothing ever came out of those auditions so it was decided that vocals would be done by whoever felt like singing that given day. All that was left was a drummer. On December 21st 1995, Pauls longtime friend (Aaron Wilson - DJ Shmeejay) took on the drums with no previous attempt to play. He seemed perfect for the part. This man was full of talent and had never practiced a day in his life. It was now down to one thing, a name. They went through many but all were pretty lame or had already been used. They were Thermal Death, A.O.D. (which was decided against after a few weeks for fear of being sued by Slayer), Necrosis, and Sage and the Elements of Thyme. Lyrics were written and music was worked out but nothing ever went down on tape. The group practiced every thursday night even when Aaron was confined to a mental hospital for personal reasons I won't get into. Many times, Bob Clark (Bob Clark and the Late Fees) would show up at our practices. This is where his musical career started. The band eventually broke up because of differences between Paul and the rest of the band. Paul wanted to do original material and the other members were at the stage where all they were interested in were Nirvana covers (somewhere there is a tape of the band doing About A Girl with Paul on vocals and Big Cheese). Paul then began writing music on his own under many names including Jack Nichol's Sons (in homage to the actor Jack Nicholson). None of these songs will probably ever see the light of day or the darkness of night. In 1998, Paul formed Major Skrew and the Hump-Delicious Sexicons with Major Skrew, Stubman, Ralph, and David and has stayed focused on there music ever since.
